    We're migrating from z/OS 2.2 to 2.4 , skipping 2.3 .
z/OSMF migration tasks introduce a check that is required for this migration :
z/OS 2.4 will ignore NODSI and NOPASS keywords for programs defined in SCHEDxx member when executed as STC . For batch processing ,
new keywords for SCHEDxx were introduced  to allow such work .
My current concern is program IEAVTDSV that serves dumping services via DUMPSRV .
If we remove the NOPASS from SCHEDxx definition , do we have to change security permissions for DUMPSRV acid ?

    Asher,

    Questions:
If we remove the NOPASS from SCHEDxx definition , do we have to change security permissions for DUMPSRV acid ?

    Answer:
NOPASS controls whether there is CICS PPT password checking. You shouldnt need to make any changes DUMPSRV acid since its not introducing new security requirements for the users. Its just enabling password checking.

Please let me know if there are any questions.
