    When the DB2 version is upgraded on a lpar the following changes need to be made for CA Compliance Manager.

     

    1. Modify the CMGRMON started task JCL STEPLIB with the new DB2 SDSNLOAD library  that contains the DSNZPARM options table as well as the SDSNLOAD member.                   
    2. Modify the CMGRWHSE started task JCL STEPLIB with the new DB2 SDSNLOAD library  that contains the DSNZPARM options table as well as the SDSNLOAD member.                   
    3. Modify the Monitor Component CONTROL OPTIONS member CEIQJCL0(CMGRPRCM) that the CMGRMON started task JCL CMGRPARM DD points to. Change the SSID= control option to specify the name of the new DB2 SYSTEM ID used to connect to the DB2 REPOSITORY.
    4. Modify the Warehouse Component CONTROL OPTIONS member CEIQJCL0(CMGRPRWH) that the CMGRWHSE started task JCL CMGRPARM DD points to. Change the SSID= control option to specify the name of the new DB2 SYSTEM ID used to connect to the DB2 REPOSITORY.
    5. Modify the CA LDAP Server odbc.ini file which is located in the CA LDAP Server installation directory. Change all references to the DB2 SSID to the new DB2 version's SSID.
    6. Modify the CA LDAP Server slapd.conf file which is located in the CA LDAP Server installation directory. Modify the dblocation parameter for the Warehouse and Data Mart definitions for the stand-alone Compliance Manager for the new DB2 'dblocation'.
    7. Modify the CA LDAP Server slapd.env file which is located in the CA LDAP Server installation directory. The environment variable STEPLIB should be updated with the new DB2 SDSNLOAD library  that contains the DSNZPARM options table as well as the SDSNLOAD member
    8. Modify the ESM security environment to allow access to the new DB2 SDSNLOAD library and the new DB2 DSNR.ssss.RRSAF library.
