Question:
Does the MEMORY CACHE option specified on a FILE in the DMCL get honoured in a local mode batch job?
Answer:
Yes.
The MEMORY CACHE option is respected in a local mode batch job.
But in local mode, IDMS always uses a 31-bit dataspace.
In the CV, a file with MEMORY CACHE set will use a 64-bit storage if enough is available, otherwise it will use a 31-bit dataspace.
