    Question:

    Where are the "verb numbers" that appear on Journal Reports documented?
    For example, in the BFOR image below Verb Number 35 is a MODIFY.

            THIS IS A NATIVE IDMS RECORD
         16  PG DISPLACEMENT         48 PREFIX LENGTH

    Answer:
    The verb numbers are documented in the Call Formats (COBOL) section of the DML    Reference for Cobol manual. 
    For the DB Call Formats, the numbers in the IDBMSCOM(nn) column are the VERB NUMBERs as listed in a JREPORT 008.
