    When using the the SQL Web Connect feature, you may see this error:

     

    DB006056 Tnnn C-4M330: The CA IDMS SQL Option is not installed.

    Request refused because of SQL restrictions, reason: NOT VDBA SCHEMA.

     

    The reasons for the error can be any one of the following:

     

    • The CA Common Services License Seat Registration Service is not installed
    • The CA Common Services CAMASTER address space is not active.
    • The limit of 2 SQL sessions or 2 IDMS Server connections has been exceeded.

     

    You can check how  many SQL sessions are registered with the z/OS console command:

    DISPLAY PROD,REGISTERED,ID(GT)

     

    To check the number of IDMS Server connections:

    DISPLAY PROD,REGISTERED,ID(XS)
