The CA Community Update Webcast Contest on for Community Members (the “Contest”) is a Random Drawing Contest that is taking place on April 23, 2014. Please read the Official Rules below in entirety.

ELIGIBILTY
To participate in the Contest described below, you must be 21 years of age or older (or the age of majority for the applicable jurisdictions in EMEA and APJ), and have accepted the terms and conditions of these Official Rules (the “Rules”). Employees of CA, Inc., and its subsidiaries or a member of the household or immediate family of any such employee, are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Individuals and customers located in Australia, Belgium, France, Japan, Italy, Portugal, Province of Quebec, and Singapore, are ineligible to participate in this Drawing but may participate in the webcast. Employees or officials of any governmental or quasi-governmental entity, who may nonetheless elect to participate in the webcast, are not eligible to participate in this Contest or win the Prizes. The Contest shall be void where prohibited or restricted by law.
HOW TO ENTER
CA Technologies customers and prospects who are community members that attend the webcast are are eligible for the Contest. Only one entry per person. At the end of the webcast, there will be a random drawing (“Drawing”) to select a winner. This will be selected through a random digital selection process. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible participants who attend the webcast. The Winner will be notified at the conclusion of the Drawing. If the potential Winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to CA’s contacts, through no fault of CA Technologies, within ten (10) days after the first attempt, an alternative Winner will be selected at random and the same procedure will be followed until a Winner is established.
THE PRIZE
One (1) Winner shall receive one (1) Apple iPad Mini 16GB, valued at $299 USD (the “Prize”). No cash alternatives to the prizes will be offered. Apple is not a participant in or sponsor of this promotion. Apple iPad ® is a trademark of Apple Inc.
CONDITIONS
By submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by these Rules and acknowledge that non-compliance will result in disqualification. All entries become the property of CA Technologies and will not be returned. The Prize may be subject to tax. In applicable jurisdictions, the Winner is responsible for reporting and paying all taxes, if any, from all applicable jurisdictions levied on account of the winning or receipt of the Prize. Should a Winner not respond or satisfy these requirements, CA Technologies reserves its election to award the Prize to another person.
It is the winner’s responsibility to ensure that their acceptance of this prize does not violate any laws or regulations of any kind, including but not limited to any conflict of interest or gift policies in effect at their company or organization. If you are not authorized by your company to receive the prize, we will ask you to notify us immediately so that CA Technologies can award the prize to another eligible person. The winner undertakes to notify his/her employer of any benefits received under this Contest.

The personal information we collect in this promotion may be used worldwide by CA Technologies and any entity within the CA Technologies group of companies and its subcontractors and partners and in countries that may have weaker data privacy laws than your country. By participating in the Drawing, you release and agree to hold harmless CA Technologies and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, vendors and agents, from any and all claims, demands, actions, liability, losses or damages, costs and expenses of any kind, whether to person or property, direct or indirect, with respect to the conduct of, or participation in this Drawing and/or caused by or resulting from the acceptance, possession, use, misuse or non-use of the Prize. To the maximum extent provided by applicable law, and notwithstanding anything provided herein suggesting the contrary, the Prize, Drawing are each made available on an “AS IS” basis without any warranty from CA Technologies. CA Technologies disclaims all warranties in relation to the Prize, drawing or this Contest, including without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, as well as any express warranties provided elsewhere in relation to this Drawing.
In no event will CA Technologies be liable to you or any other party for any claim for loss, including without limitation, time, money, goodwill, any lost or damaged property, bodily injury and any consequential damages, which may arise from your participation in any Drawing or your use, operation or misuse of the Prize, even if CA Technologies has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In the event that the above liability limitation is found to be invalid under applicable law, then the total liability of any kind of CA Technologies or any of its agents to you in relation to this Drawing in any manner shall be limited to $100 USD.
Decisions from CA Technologies in all matters related to this Contest, Drawing, Prize, and the Winners are final. CA Technologies reserves the right to terminate this Contest and Drawing at any time, with or without notice, in the event CA Technologies determines that this Contest and Drawing will not achieve, or has not achieved its goals. All disputes concerning or relating this Contest, Drawing or these Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York.
