    What would be the best practices for the following scenario:

    These NDM's are scheduled at 5am, Terri has requested they run at 7:15am this Sunday only.

    NDMDNXGC

    NDMDNXGF

    Here is what/how these jobs are scheduled now

    ------------------------------ SCHEDULES ----------------------
                     LAST RESOLV ON 19.205 AT 14:49
                     CALENDAR SCAL197D
    ID=001   ROLL=N  INDEX=+000
    SCAL=    DOTM=0530  LEADTM=0005  SUBTM=0500  STARTM=0525
             DAILY
    --------------------------- TRIGGERED JOBS --------------------
       JOB=NDMDNXGC SCHID=000     DOTM=0530 LEADTM=0010 SUBMTM=0515
       JOB=NDMDNXGF SCHID=000     DOTM=0530 LEADTM=0010 SUBMTM=0000

    I have at least two thoughts on what to do besides changing the schedule (which I do NOT want to do), but am wondering if anyone does this regularly and how they work it, plus what best practices for this scenario would be.

    For one time exceptions, why not Demand the jobs in with the specific date/time you wish them to run and then skip the next cycle.  I have one time adjustments like this as well, and have a BTI to standardize the process because you never have just a one time exception.

    Best of luck,

    So do you make a different BTI for each circumstance and/or jobs or have just one that you modify every time?

    I have various ones that I use for special circumstances - especially if I think that I will need that example again.  I have a special library (one that is commonly used by many if needed) that is just for those exceptions, then next time I can search for the job name and see how I handled the situation last time.
