  • 1.  CA7 migration testing

    So I recently did a CA7 migration on our test system so we know it's going to work for production cutover; however, while the migration jobs all ran successfully, the schedulers are telling me their "arf sets" are not showing up.

    I see in the migration job the following:
    DDNAME: UCC7ARF DSNAME: VSAM.CA7.ARF.BKUP
    ARF 3
    DDNAME: UCC7VRM DSNAME: VSAM.CA7.VRM.BKUP
    VRM 4
    DDNAME: UCC7DMPQ DSNAME: SYS2.CA7.DMPQUE
    DMPQ 32,895

    and the LARF command shows the following:
    LARF

    SLIW-01 NO RECORDS MATCHED ARFSET=*

    Has anyone else seen this?  migrating to CA7 R12.0 .  Yes I know 12.1 is out, but it's too late in the game to get 12.1.

    I have not heard of this happening to anyone. I recommend you opening a support case and we will work with you to find out what happened.
