I recently did a "migration " test for CA7 from an older release to R12.
The migration job was successful; however, my schedulers are saying that the ARF sets do not show up.

    The migration job shows:
    DDNAME: UCC7ARF DSNAME: VSAM.CA7.ARF.BKUP
    ARF 3
    DDNAME: UCC7VRM DSNAME: VSAM.CA7.VRM.BKUP
    VRM 4
    DDNAME: UCC7DMPQ DSNAME: SYS2.CA7.DMPQUE
    DMPQ 32,895

But the larf shows nothing matching.
    LARF

    SLIW-01 NO RECORDS MATCHED ARFSET=*

Is it possible to have missed something?

    Hi Steve

The messages you mention from the migration job indicate that only 3 ARF records were included in the conversion process. I suggest looking at  the AL2DCC20 job to verify that you included current ARF and VRM backups, i.e. backups created just prior to conversion.

I see you have several other cases open regarding conversion, but none of them seem to address this issue.  If you need further assistance with this, don't hesitate to open a case so we can look at your process.

We did discover the issue, and have since successfully migrated and are now
    up and running on z/OS 2.2 and CA7 R12.

Next will be to upgrade to z/OS 2.3 before the end of September and
    probably go to CA7 R12.1
