    I have two jobs recently set up which should trigger when a file gets created from a job directly in front of these jobs. The jobs will not trigger when the file is created from the batch jobs, but when a programmer creates the files from an ADHOC job, the jobs will trigger off. The LCTLG,DSN command shows that CA7 sees both the file created from batch as well as the file created via ADHOC. If CA7 sees both files coming in from both type of jobs, why would it only be triggering from the ADHOC job?

    Based on what you stated, the jobs should trigger. Please open a support case and I can gather some data including LCTLG command, job trigger definition, LJOB output and the SASSXTRK log data. Once I review this data I would be able to pinpoint what is happening or not happening....
