CA7 - schedule one job multiple times a day intervals uneven

ok, I KNOW there is a way to do this.  I just can't think of it...  we don't have one this way and I'm pulling a blank.     I've tried a few ways and they aren't working the way I want.   I can't use scheduling screen with interval cuz the intervals are different.   I can't schedule ONE job multiple times cuz you can't do that.  I'm not getting triggering to work either.   HELP?  I can't see the beach through the trees!

I am not exactly sure what you are trying to schedule. Please provide details of how you want the job to run...

Hi Renate,
I have done this with a SCHID for each run time.  SCHID=6 for the 6am run, SCHID=9 for the 9am run, and so on.  I hope this helps.

YEA,  I can do that...  I was trying to NOT have SRC1-117 (W) ID MULTIPLE SCHEDULES AT LEAST ONE DAY.  I hate that message.  I just kept thinking that there must be some way to do it.   BUT since it has to be done for tomorrow, that is what I did.....  I'm just holding out for another way if there is another way to make it without the multiple message.  

We search for that message when we do global resolves to hunt for problems.  I hate having a job where it needs to be there.

I know that is a pain when doing global resolves. I don't like it either. Another option could be to have different dummy jobs running at those times that will trigger the desired job. One dummy job to on a repeat schedule for the 6, 9 and 12 runs and a different dummy job for 5:30pm. Just a thought.

​You can do it using the TRIG - to control it..   

That means you have  to Schedule it  - as many times as you need it to run..  

SCHID =  010, 1200, 14:00 

triggering is based of SCHID on TRIGID 
SCHID=010 - TRIG=012 

SCHID=010 - TRIG-014   
 
But remember JES won't allow the same job name to execute at the same time - due suggest the scheduling via an interval period. Understanding the time will change  based of the last runs end time.  perhaps so maybe if you shorten your interval down to 30 minutes...
