  • 1.  Does ESP support running scheduled jobs on a CNCF Kubernetes platform?

    We currently use CA ESP to run scheduled jobs on AIX hosts.

    We are considering moving to RHEL and hosting our applications in containers running on a Kubernetes cluster.

     

    Does ESP support running jobs on a Kubernetes cluster?  Is there any documentation we can follow to do so?

    The short answer is "yes, you can schedule containerized applications using ESP". When it comes to running applications deployed in containers it can be done and there are multiple ways of accomplishing this depending on your needs. We have customers running agents in the containers themselves. We also have customers running the applications by starting and monitoring the containers from the engines.
