ca7 scheduling - another question for the books

P1PPDAMJ runs 4 times a day.   "WE" do not initiate the job, it comes from the fed.

 

We do have two jobs that run in batch at night that need to complete before the first run of P1PPDAMJ for the day runs   (it happens around 1am). 

 

I thought about putting a hold that the operators would just have to release but that really will not work, they want this job to run ASAP when it comes in.

 

Any Ideas?

You could set up the two jobs to 'create' two different data sets (IEBGENER and delete in same job--all we need is a SMF 0F record created) and then add the two data sets as requirements (DB.3.2) to P1PPDAMJ with a LEADTM of 24.
