We are testing JCLCHECK as a prospective replacement for JOBSCAN

    In ISPF Edit

If there is an EOJ (// ) statement embedded in the JCL, then it seems JCLCHECK warns you with a message pushed out up front to the display screen for which you have to hit Enter, but does not actually the flag the statement inline in the JCL as being in error.  So you could miss it.

Whereas Jobscan does flag the line in error so it's much more easily visible.

Am I missing an option somewhere ?  Or is this just how JCLCHECK works for this scenario ?

    Thanks

    The message

CAY6408I JCL STATEMENTS FLUSHED FOR JOBNAME 'myjob'  should be appearing inline.   We currently have a defect open in our Level 2 to correct the display.
