Simple enough question.. tape to tape copy.. one(1) tape 44 files on it just need to make a backup copy.
I am going to do a simple Single volume TAPE TO TAPE COPY to create a backup tape.
The documentation indicates there are 2 methods TDYNCOPY & DYNCOPY.
Q1. Is there a difference in the way the output tape is created if DYNCOPY is used instead of TDYNCOPY?
Q2. Can I just use DYNCOPY... and specify one input and one output and use the COPY function?
Will that copy all the files from one tape to the other?
Or do I have to define every input file on the tape And specify DYNCOPY COPY, FILES=xx
Again my apologies for the basic question.
