The whole Code4z project is available as a free download on the Visual Studio Code Marketplace.

    What's new:

    Debugger for Mainframe

Version 1.5.0 now supports Statement trace and Call trace.

The extension is available for free on the VS Code marketplace: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=broadcomMFD.debugger-for-mainframe

    COBOL Language Support

    The new version 0.18.0 brings:

    • Syntax analysis for DB2 SQL statements
    • Support for copybooks outside the current workspace
    • Support for IDMS DML commands and statements
    • Java 8 support
    • other enhancements and bug fixes, see the changelog for more details

COBOL Language Support is an open-source project. Please visit the GitHub repository to give us feedback or make your own contribution to the project:

The extension is available for free on the VS Code marketplace: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=broadcomMFD.cobol-language-support

All extensions are also part of Che4z project which allows leveraging the plugins' functionalities in the Kubernetes native cloud environment or Openshift. New versions of plugins are being released with new Che versions on a regular basis.

    COBOL Control Flow

Please notice this extension COBOL Control Flow that is not being delivered altogether with Code4z package, but it perfectly supplies the COBOL Language Support extension. It provides graphical visualization of program flow for programs written in COBOL which helps developers with navigation in the COBOL code and shows dependencies between different parts of the program.

The extension is available for free on the VS Code marketplace or Open VSX Registry.
