  • 1.  CA View backup tapes as EDM

    I would like to see a CA View interface to CA1, so CA View backup tapes can be defined to CA1 as an EDM (external data manager.)  This is available with CA Dispatch, but not
    CA View.  Inadvertent scratching of CA View backup tapes due to abends and accidental uncataloging would be greatly reduced.  EDM tapes receive a permanent retention in CA1 and do not get scratched until the creating product informs CA1 to scratch the tape.
