  • 1.  Old LMPKEYS still showing up after Loading new LMPKEYS

    Posted Feb 27, 2020 09:08 AM
After loading the new LMPKEYS with command 'S CAS9,,,LMPKEYS',  Old LMPKEYS are showing up on the SYSLOG and in SYSVIEW.

    CAS9012A 00035 Key warnings/violations on CPU 04F7F7
CAS9013A Product WU about to expire or is expired and is in use
CAS9013A Product 4Q about to expire or is expired and is in use

The KEYS member used to load the New Keys DOES NOT have WU and 4Q keys in it.

This LPAR has also been IPL'd several time since the New KEYS were originally loaded.

Anyone have an idea HOW TO get these old Keys out of Cache or where ever they exist?

    Hello David,
    message
CAS9013A PRODUCT XX ABOUT TO EXPIRE OR IS EXPIRED AND IS IN USE
The CA LMP agreement for this product is about to expire or has expired and CA LMP execution software may deactivate the product in the near future if the situation is not corrected.
This message can appear if the product is valid and is about to expire or if a user has tried to access the product for which the site is not licensed.
    *  If the product is licensed then a valid LMP key is required and the Licensing group should be contacted .
    *  If the product is not licensed and was accessed in error, these messages will stop displaying after 24 hours if the customer is running at a current level of CAIRIM.

An IPL of the system will also eliminate these messages.

This message is not related to still having such keys anywhere in cache or such. The product is being used and no such key is available.

The various 2 digit LMP codes are documented here:

So it looks like CA Workload Automation High Availability-EE and CA Output Management Web Viewer are being in use and no lmpkey for them is installed.
So you need to check if the products are used by mistake or not.  If they are in use by purpose, contact licensing department to provide missing keys,
