  • 1.  Password validation bypass in administrator user TPX signon

    Hello,

in a newly installed TPX 5.4 system (z/OS 2.2 with RACF) just noticed that, as an administrator user, i can signon to TPX without entering password.
Of course, valid passwords are still needed to proper session signon, as long as tha applications ask for RACF validation.

We need to disable that option, enforcing password validation even for administrator users, but wasn't able to find how to do so in the product manuals. Any idea how to control it?

    Thanks in advance,

    Sandro Ambrozic

    Here is what is needed
    1.) tpxadmin
    2.) user maintaince
3.) enter the userid for the security change
    4.) user options
5.) pf8 until you come to SECURITY OPTIONS & type in software name (Default is Security system:        NONE   )
    6.) recycle
this will assign security for this userid.

    Regards
    Maurizio
