  • 1.  CA LMP validation postponed

    I seemed to recall after an IPL over the weekend, we had incorrect LMP Keys and CAS9 produced some sort of messages indicating that because this was a weekend, there was a grace period and we had until Monday to contact CA and implement a proper LMP Key.  I'm unable to find any documentation related to that in the manuals.  Was I dreaming?

    Hi John,

    No you are not dreaming.  The code is written in such a way that it will wait until Monday before issuing CAS9180E LMP violation msgs when the key expires on a weekend. 

    This is not covered in the documentation, it is just the nature of the product. 

    We recognize that the keys will sometimes expire on a weekend and we delay issuing the message until the beginning of the work week.

    Looking for more details such as exactly when the grace period is over, Monday at 00:01, Monday at 09:00, Monday at 23:59 etc.

    Hi John,

     

    The code is set to recognize the end of the weekend, or beginning of the week, at 00:01 am on Monday.   

    I guess computers get an early start to the week.
