    Hi all,

I want to announce a new continuous delivery feature for CA Endevor V18.1, delivered via PTFs LU00538, LU00539 and LU00540 - Sync In-Place.  With this new feature, customers can now use Quiick Edit or SCL/REST to let Endevor know an out-of-sync condition has been resolved without performing a MOVE operation.  Details can be found here:

Synchronize Element (Quick Edit); Update Statement and Add Statement (SCL); Update Element Action (API); and Element Actions for RESTful API v1 and Element Actions for RESTful API v2 (REST API).

Warning!  If you apply PTF LU00538 and the base library for the CA Endevor type is an ELIB, corruption and sync errors might occur. Symptoms of corruption include the appearance of a SMGR063E MEMBER NOT FOUND message when you sync in place. Because of this problem, LU00538 has been marked a PTF in error and corrected by PTF LU01911. If you are unable to apply PTF LU01911 immediately, you can circumvent the problem by disabling the Sync in Place feature in ENCOPTBL, and instead using the Delete and Add actions or the Move and Transfer with Sync actions to put an element back in sync.
