  • 1.  Approver Disqualifcation & Delete Packages

    Hi all,

i just wanted to get the communities thoughts, I just created a package to delete some archived code from our Admin environment just to find that no one in the team could approve the package as we had all changed at least on of the elements in the package at some point.

So my question is, should approver disqualification work differently for delete packages?

    Kind Regards,

    Ed

    Hi Ed,
I think that Super-Users defined in the ENCOPTBL (ENHOPTSU) Options table should be able to perform Delete actions in Packages even if they are disqualified because they had touched the element at one point in its history.

    Just my thoughts.

    Hi June,

Being a super-user doesn't override the approval, as admins we're all super-users and this package still needed approving following the normal rules. Of course as Admins we can get around this issue a number of other ways, it just felt like an oversight.
