    Hi
We would like to make use of Tomcat/Apache for Endevor.

Our previous CA Common Services installation v14.1 did not have Tomcat. I have downloaded and installed the needed FMIDs.
Now, Tomcat/Apache resides in .../CASoftware/CCS/tpv/ folder. This is its contents
    _ Dir 2019-07-21 14:29 8192 .
    _ Dir 2019-07-14 14:13 8192 ..
    _ Dir 2013-05-23 20:17 8192 apache-tomcat-7.0.40
    _ Dir 2019-01-09 15:21 8192 apache-tomcat-8.5.35

    _ Dir 2019-07-18 15:09 8192 tsh

But the Endevor installation has /Endevor18/tpv/ folder too.

    _ File 2019-06-18 14:21 330733 Validate.jar

What is my sequence of actions? I suppose we must configure Apache server first. Where is the guide for this?

    Will be grateful for clarification.

    HI Alex,

Endevor Web Services is the Tomcat server for Endevor. Both CCS Tomcat (apache-tomcat-8.5.35) and Endevor software (Endevor specific libraries) are required to install Endevor Web Services.

    https://docops.ca.com/ca-endevor-SCM/18-0/en/installing/how-to-enable-web-services

Above is the main document for Endevor Web Services, please check out the Prerequisites, Roles and Responsibilities, Web Services Installation Checklist from the above link.

    https://docops.ca.com/ca-endevor-SCM/18-0/en/installing/how-to-enable-web-services/install-and-set-up-ca-endevor-scm-web-services

Follow the above link to install Endevor Web Services, you need to customize ENWSInstallOptions.properties, then run the install script ENWSIns.sh.

In your case,  .../CASoftware/CCS/tpv/apache-tomcat-8.5.35 contains all the general libraries of Apache Tomcat,  and  /Endevor18/tpv/tomcat contains all the Endevor specific libraries for Endevor Web Services.

    ENWSIns.sh will copy files from
    Apache Tomcat directory ($TOMCAT_HOME_DIR)
    and
    Endevor Tomcat directory ($ENDEVOR_SOFTWARE_DIR/tpv/tomcat)
    to
$ENDEVOR_TOMCAT_INSTANCE (uss directory for Endevor Web Services)

All the above variables defined in ENWSInstallOptions.properties.

Feel free to open ticket with Endevor support should you need assistance with Endevor Web Services installation.
