Looks like I never posted this update.

In it, I present a scenario where I perform remote builds:

• using a Jenkins server on one machine (here Windows), an SSH Jenkins agent on another (Linux in this example),
• uploading RMT files to the Jenkins server,
• automatically transferring it to the target agent, through Jenkins-based secure communication channel,
• building it using the build tool in command-line mode on the target CA Gen build machine.

Of course, what I present is just an example, and can easily be made more sophisticated, as needed (or even translated to your selected equivalent technology).
