    You would get a listing of the code when you Compile it, If you provide a data set for the Compile Listing. You do this in the Model libraries in either the z/OS Host Encyclopedia Application Construction Libraries or the z/OS Implementation Toolset Target Locations.  

    You can Compile the Gen generated code per Load Module or for the entire Business System (in the z/OS HE) in the background as a batch job or in the foreground in TSO/ISPF.
