PTF LU03149 - Command Rule Security Option
Security administrators want Broadcom products to follow NIST 800-53 security standards with regard to documenting product-specific security requirements. The "Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG)" MSD Epic is driving this initiative with pilot products like OPS/MVS, SYSVIEW, IDMS and others. While working with internal and external security experts on this project, it was suggested to OPS/MVS engineering that an additional layer of security protection be added to certain types of OPS/MVS automation rules. This PTF will allow optionally allow OPS/MVS perform new security authorization checks when processing command rule types.
