ADDRESS HWS TIMEOUT default?

Acc. to the CA-OPS/MVS DOC, the default TIMEOUT() value for ADDRESS HWS commands would be 120 seconds.

Now we experienced what appears yo be a timeout after just 60 seconds. Is that doc correct?

Can any one confirm that the default is really 120 seconds? Or should we add a timeout(120) parm to lengthen the timeout?

Marcel, the default Timeout is 2 minutes. You might try explicitly coding a Timeout on youe request to see how that works.

If adding an explicit Timeout doesn't work then I would suggest opening a problem ticket.

Ok added TIMEOUT(120) to all our ADDRESS HWS stmts, see what happens....
