CA technicians have been onsite at CGI in Stockholm recently to provide detailed information
about the current status of the CA IMS tools, inlcuding a healthcheck of the IMS tools environment used(and not used) at CGI.
Specificly we talked about
- CGI's system environment
- CA IMS tools features currently not used but possibly being beneficial for CGI/customers
- Recent changes and planned enhancements for CA's IMS tools
- How to tune HDAM/PHDAM databases using CA DBA Reports
- We also got a lot of helpful tips and tricks how to move on with some things that been put on hold for different reasons.
The meeting has been considered as very valuable/inspiring for us IMS (DBA) technicians and I encourage you take benefit of these meetings if/when you get invited.
