Problem: When trying to start Automation Point Windows Service CA-AP NM Gateway Server, get error 1062 and the service will not start.

    Possible solutions:

If AP 11.5 installed, check the following:

    1. In Config Manager > Expert Interface > Infrastructure > Third Party Software

Verify Java 32bit, Java 64bit, and Tomcat show they are installed. You may need to uninstall/reinstall Java.

    2. Privileges for the Windows Service may need to be added or adjusted.

By default CA AP Windows services run as the LocalSystem account that has administrative privileges. If configured to run as another user, that account must have the following user rights:

    Belong to the Administrators group

Act as part of the operating system

    Allow log on locally

Log on as a batch job

    Log on as a service
