How to monitor the number of active connections on a specific MQ channel?

We are trying to generate an alert when the amount of active connections in channel C265.SVRCONN.PIX reaches 100 .

I found the MQDCONNA(Channel connections active) and MQDCONNC(Channel connections current) variables, but they only monitor the number of Queue Manager connections and not the specific channel.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Felix,
SYSVIEW does not have a monitoring metric representing the number of connections per channel.

However, this information is available for display purposes by issuing MQCHSTAT ; UNIQFLDS CHANNEL
If you use the System Condition Monitor (SCM) or OPS/MVS you could create an IMOD or REXX exec to periodically check this display and take some action if necessary.
