    This is a forward looking statement. This is subject to change at any time without notice.  The development, release and timing remain at Broadcom's sole discretion.

    We have had a number of customers asking about our plans to certify Oracle 19c and Windows Server 2019, so I thought I'd share an update on our certification plans for distributed systems.

    Here is our current backlog, in priority order. We anticipate completing these in 2020.

    1. Oracle 19c for Runtime and CSE

    2. Windows Server 2019

    3. MS SQL Server 2019

    4. RedHat 7.X and 8.X   -->see updated comment below, 10/8/2020

    Your feedback helps determine our priorities, so let us know how this news affects you. If you have any questions, feel free to reply to this discussion or email me at Kim.Peelman@broadcom.com

    We recently completed our PI Planning for the last quarter of the year. Certification of #1 Oracle 19c has been delivered. Our next certifications will be #2 Windows Server 2019 and #3 MS SQL Server 2019. After that we will take on #4 RedHat, which may go to the next PI (early 2021).  For Redhat we are focusing on version 8.x. We have already certified RedHat 7.5, and do not plan any additional certification work for 7. x. We welcome your feedback on this.
    I will keep you posted as more information becomes available, closer to implementation time.

    @Saeed Almutairi  We will continue to support certified versions of WebSphere already called out in our tech reqs HERE.  We have a backlog item to research potential support for CloudPak in the future.

    Does this answer your question?

    @Kim Peelman Yes.. it is good to know that you are going to support IBM Cloud Pak for Applications which combines all WebSphere editions including the Liberty one along with other tools for Mobile and DevOps, and definitely OpenShift Container Platform.

    But because IBM has announced the end-of-support for current versions that certified by Gen by 2030, you should consider certifying the alternative version of WebSphere "Liberty"

    @Vijay Karnatak Thanks for the heads up regarding CICS v5.6. We support all minor versions, so additional testing wasn't necessary, only documentation updates. The  CA Gen Compatibility matrix has now been updated.
