We are pleased to announce the general availability of the V10 Base Incremental Releases for CA File Master Plus, CA File Master Plus for IMS, and CA File Master Plus for DB2 for z/OS.
These new releases introduce the following features:
- Streamlined product installation, configuration, deployment and maintenance by combining all three products onto a single PAX file. CA File Master Plus customers can now install any or all of the products in any combination, saving time and reducing the number of artifacts to be managed.
- A single, common Eclipse RCP containing perspectives for easily managing z/OS, IMS and DB2 data simultaneously from a single application window, simplifying rollout, maintenance and adoption of the modern UI.
- Integration with Standardware COPE for IMS to enable IMS data access and manipulation in virtualized environments.
- Automatic IMS edit session timeout to protect against adverse effects of idle TSO sessions being cancelled due to inactivity while connected to IMS.
