Cannot add partition - "One of the paramaters supplied is invalid"

    Hello,
    I have a VM with a virtual hard drive with Windows 10 installed on it.
    I wish to add a physical partition of my HDD as a secound drive in it.
    Im running VMware workstation 17 player.

    I made a new partition on my HDD, and made sure it's not mounted on the host machine.
    I shout down the virtual machine.

    In properties -> add -> hard disk -> NVMe (recomended) -> use a physical  disk -> PhysicalDrive0 + use individual partition -> partition 6 -> finish ->
     And I keep getting an error "One of the parameters supplied is invalid"

    How can I fix this?
