Abstract: The Symantec Management Platform uses role-based security, which means that user access is based on the user's security role. A security role is a set of privileges and permissions that is granted to all members of that role. The following steps will outline how to create the custom security role for Report Viewers. This will walk you through creating a Report Viewer role.
This Report Viewer role provides the necessary rights & privileges to view all built-in Reports as part of the management console. This provides any user the ability to see data and report against software & computers without providing any management rights within the platform.
