    Has anyone upgraded to ITMS 8.0 yet? And if you have did you run into any issues? Or is the docementation provided by Symantec good enough to get you through the upgrade? I'm still new to Symantec Altiris and I would like to upgrade as painlessly as possible. We're currently running ITMS 7.5 SP1 at our organization.

    pich.byrd, I just came from the Launch event and they said you can upgrade directly from 7.5 but you'll need to be on the latest Hotfix. I've done the upgrade in my lab, but I was coming from 7.6 HF7. In that scenario, it was totally painless. Essentially it felt no different than doing a hotfix, except that I had to install one new pre-requisite (OpenXML if I recall?).

    Hey,

    The BMC Remedy IT Service Management 8.0 Suite documentation space includes suite-level information and common information (such as configuring foundation data). The component documentation spaces provide details specific to those components. Is it real feature?
