    Computer views & groups is not opening at all for customized role . Kindly suggest what to do for this .

    Hi shiv choudhary!

    First, to understand for which Resources/Items current custom "Security Role" doesn't have read permissions, please:

    1. Open "Altiris Log Viewer" on Symantec Management Platform machine and enable "Trace", "Verbose" logging.

    - In opened Altiris Log Viewer, on right bottom side, also check "Trace", "Verbose" checkboxes.

    - Now with opened "Altiris Log Viewer", re-open same "Manage" -> "Computers" page -> now you can find trace/verbose and also error messages regarding missed permissions for. You can navigate mouse cursor on each message where Item/Resource Guid is shown in Altiris Log Viewer, it should show tooltip with name of Resource/Item.

    2. Once you know for which Items/Resources your custom Security role should also has read permissions, you can open SMP Console -> Settings -> Security -> Security role manager -> choose there your custom Security role name for "Role:" drop-down menu and start adding required resource/item read permissions.
