  • 1.  Inventory Pack for Servers Agent crashing SMA on Cisco C240 hardware

    Has anyone successfully deployed the SMA and Inventory pack for Servers plug-in on a Cisco C240 M3 rack server? After multiple re-installs, I have the same crash scenario on both windows 2008 r2 and 2012 r2 with only this model of Cisco hardware. Other models of Cisco work fine. The SMA works with all sub-agents, but once the Inventory pack for servers plug-in (version 7.5.1597) is installed it crashes. At this point the SMA no longer stays running and I get multiple crash dump logs until the SMA flat out stops running. It would seem this model isn't supported but I also don't know what to use to debug the .dmp.ez files. I have attached the screen shot right before the crash to show the various versions of sub agents. Can someone help?

    I am getting the same result still with 7.5 SP1 HF3.

    I went through each policy and the one crashing the agent is actually 'Deployment Plug-in for Windows (x64) - Install' not the Server Inventory agent.

    This was resolved as a known issue in 7.5.1 HF4.
