    Hi All,

Failed to restore sepm backup  on new server

I am migrating sepm server embedded database to on sql database for that I am doing disaster require on new sepm server .

    POA

    1. I am provided same server host name and ip address.
    2. Copied all backup and server privet key
    3. Installed sepm console and sql server  both on different server.
    4. Connect sepm console to sql database after install sql client on sepm server.
    5. Stop Symantec manager services
    6. Started backup and restore utility but after long time I was getting below mention error

restore failed due to a database problem any partially restored data has been removed. you may run the database restore process again

    1. I tried it two four times with different backup  but I got same error

What I would do next to delete already created database from sql server or it will override on the same database

Have you run the DB validator on the Embedded database on old SEPM to confirm on the Database health ?.
