    hi everyone,

    please advise me regards on this issue, when applying critical patch update in  oracle,

    why it does not recognize.

     

    i'll appreciate your help,

    Could you please provide the error code during apply the opatch? And, what's the platform of your environment, Linux or Windows?

    hi,

    thanks, please see attached file.

    these was the first that i did, installing the opatch utility and knowing the version.

    You're setting your ORACLE_HOME to the wrong place.  ORACLE_HOME is not ..\product\11.2.0\db_1\NETWORK\ADMIN.  It should be ..\product\11.2.0\db_1.

    hi keith,

     

    did i got the wring mistake on the path after the upgrade of an oracle?

    how can i fix this to set the directory to the right one location.

    please help me regards on this.

    Set the ORACLE_HOME environment variable at the command prompt. Enter:
     

    set ORACLE_HOME=c:\oracle\product\11.2.0.3\db_1

    Run "opatch apply" with respect to the path of the directory the files are in.
