  • 1.  install the Oracle Critical Patch Update

    hi all,

     

    please advise me on this. i already done upgrade oracle but i need to finish for it's critical patch

    cant apply the critical patch in oracle.

    it does not recognized even i run the command prompt directly through the directory of a software.

    please help.

    Please check the prerequisites to run the critical patch update in admin/maintance guide of DLP.

    Follow the procedure mentioned in guide.

    This document is available to download when you download the software.  Within FileConnect there is a file called Symantec_Docs.zip or something similar.  All documentation is included there that you will need to answer your question.

    -Extract file into a common directory

    -Set ORACLE_HOME

    -Restart may be reqired

    -Services may need to be stopped and changed to manual (Distributed Transaction Coordinator,OracleOraDb11g)

    -Run "opatch apply"
