EndPoint discover Scan: Can't get it to run on a list of machines

Running 12.0.1

EndPoint Discover scan needs to run on a few (say 30 machines but nowhere else. 

 

For in Include filter I put 

*.doc, *.docx, *.xls, *.xlsx, *.csv, *.log, *.txt, *.pdf, *.xml, > Machine1, machine2, etc. 

 

Starts on Machine1 but Machine 2 says Not Participating 

Have tried 

*.doc, *.docx, *.xls, *.xlsx, *.csv, *.log, *.txt, *.pdf, *.xml, > Machine1,Machine2, etc.  No space

*.doc, *.docx, *.xls, *.xlsx, *.csv, *.log, *.txt, *.pdf, *.xml, > Machine1, machine2 No last comma and no space etc.

 

 

Can't get it to work :(

Not sure how many endpoint servers you have but make sure all 30 machines are connected to the Endpoint server you have assigned to the Scan config.

 

as for the include filter, I'm pretty sure you need a ">" before each hostname.  try:

*.doc, *.docx, *.xls, *.xlsx, *.csv, *.log, *.txt, *.pdf, *.xml, >Machine1, >Machine2, etc.
