Does this update apply to Symantech End Point Manager (SEPM)?
No this release if for Symantec Management Platform and it's product solutions.
Does this security update apply to Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager?
This post refers exclusively to Symantec's IT Management Suite. This is an endpoint management product, not an endpoint protection product.
Please note that SEP-related information/questions/answers/etc. are posted under Security > Endpoint Protection.
After performing the upgrade via the SIM, I still see the notification at the top of the Symantec™ Management Console that there is an update available.
When looking at the help > about the version reporting back is: 8.1.4528.
Is this correct?
