Fortianalyzer integration

Hi All,

 

I need some urgent info.

Can i integrate Fortianalyzer with my SSIM.

If yes, will it log all the logs from all child Fortigate firewalls???

Look avkash i have never worked with Fortigate,but i think if it will be integrated with SSIM it will sync all logs with SSIM.

Hi Avkask,

Yes, You can integrate the FortiAnalyzer with SSIM.

And once if you successfully integrate Fortigate Analyser it will be an added advantage as in future if any inteface added to the FW, you will be able to collect logs from all the Fortigate FW's.

The Fortigate Analyzer will act as management server for all the fortigate firewalls enabled in your workspace.

I agree Shahnawaz that Fortianlayzer can be integrated, but will it forward all the logs from all integrated firewalls.

And if yes, is it possible to seggregate the logs from diff. firewalls??

Sorry for the late in reply,

Yes you will get logs from all the interface of the Fortigate FW's which are enabled on FortiAnalyzer.

FortigateAnalyzer will just act as the management server for all the Fortigate FW's enabled in your workspace.

And logs can be segerated but not through interface IP's but through Logging Device Name in SSIM.
