  • 1.  Restart issue Upgrade from 12.1 RU4 to RU4 MP1b( Blank screen for long time after restart)

    Hi all,

    in our netowork when upgrading existing version SEP 4100 to SEP 4112.4156 version, in few computers I am facing issues that after upgrading package through console the clients reboot after that  the screen goes dark and user logon screen does not come or if comes in few systems it afer long time. Anyone faced similiar issues, pls share or if any sullution pls post here.  It reported in all version of client version windows. Windows XP and Windows 7 both. Finaly I start systems with "last knows good configuration" option in reboot pressing F8. 

    I mentioned few systems because if product issue then it would occures in all the systems after upgrade, I found this issue in few systems. However it creats panic becuase I do it from console as best practice instead of manually.

    Pls share your expertise or input

    LKGC has version 12.1.4? that work without any issue?

    What happens if you install AV only as a test?

    Hi,

    Is it happening after every reboot? Reboot the systems 2-3 times and see the result?

    After upgrate to latest version 12.1.5 , after restart screen blank issue solved.
