Still not got any files in my file connect..

    Hi,

    I want to know the following details..kindly help me..

    Right now iam using Symantec endpoint protection 11.0.6300.803 version..can i now upgrade to the new version 12.1??

    In my file connect i have not received any files for Symantec 12.1??

    what are all the things i need to do for upgradation..

    My database is SQL..

    Yes, you can upgrade SEP 11 RU6 MP3 to 12.1

    You may contact the Symantec Licensing Department if you need further assistance in obatining a serial number to download the SEP 12.1 at 1-800-721-3934 option 2.

    are you logging to fileconnect with a SEP12 license key?

    Hello ,

    You might require a new serial number to download the Endpoint protection 12.1.

    The Serial Numbers is usually the 'M' number which can be obtained from the purchase documentation or by contacting the Licensing Department to get it.

    Hello,

    Yes you can upgrade from RU6 MP3 to SEP 12.1

    If you don't see it on fileconnect then as llower04 said, you will have to contact license department.

    • They will check if a customer has a valid support contract.
    • If he/she does have a valid contract then they will generate the notification email and send the same to the customer’s Email address.
    • Once customer receives that, he/she just needs to go to the link mentioned in the Email and download the SEP 12.1

    License department will ask you serial number which starts with M , Keep it handy before calling.

    Customer care dept. confirmed that they are in a process of sending the Emails to all customers who has valid support contract in alphabetical order, however if one has not received then he/she needs to follow the procedure mentioned above

    In the fileconnect licensing portal, you can check if you have a Valid support subscription in effect.  If you do, you will be eligible for an upgrade.

    If you do not, you will have to contact the sales department in order to get a valid "upgrade and subscription" for the Symantec Endpoint Manager.

    Hi,

    In my site there is no details for Network access control setup..if we install symantecit will install automatically? then what is the meaning for the below files..what is the seperate files of client and manager..and others??

    Kindly help me to proceed further..

    Its to ease bandwidth usage - if you only want a client package then thats all you need to download.

    If you only want the manager and not all the tools, etc. then you can download that.

    SNAC is a seperate product, you need to version upgrade that too if you are entitled to it.

    we are having the license for SEP, then SNAC also will be available na....then what version upgrade i need to do yar??

    If you didnt have SNAC With version 11, you don't have it with version 12.

    If you have SNAC today, then you should have a license key for it, which you can upgrade in the same way as SEP11.

    As u told i upgraded my SPS Suite license after that i got new serial no with SNAC package inculded in that file connect..thanks yar..

    When i tried to download the files from fileconnect it is not fully downloading..and giving error..kindly help
