The CA Performance Management team invites you to download, install, and test the CA Performance Management 3.0 Sprint 3 Kit.
This Sprint Kit reflects work demonstrated on September 20, 2016:
- Improved context pages that suppress the display of unsupported information
- Enhanced Summary Statistics table that provides greater reporting flexibility
- Multi-metric Scorecards that can reflect aggregate health based on multiple metrics
- Ability to visualize maintenance windows on trend views
- Extension of custom attribute functionality to Interface items
- Option to allow users to administer more than one group
- More granular control over which metrics are stored within the system
And work demonstrated on August 25, 2016:
- Ability to support multiple tenants on a Data Collector
- Allow CAPC to support multiple NFA data source instances
- Allow editing data source role rights for tenants
- Support group context in NFA "Top Enterprise Hosts By Volume" and "Top Enterprise Protocols By Volume" views
- Allow customers to extend item data model with custom attributes
Kits are provided for your use only, and in non-production environments only.
Downloading the Sprint Kit
Sprint Kits are available via the CA Performance Management Validation Program project in validate.ca.com.
If you joined CA Performance Management Validation Program in validate.ca.com during the CA Performance Management 2.8 release validation period, you need only log into validate.ca.com and access the "CA Performance Management Validation Program" in "My Projects". From there click on Sprint Kits to see the link for the Sprint 4 Kit. Click the "CA PM 3.0 Sprint 4 Kit" link to access the download instructions and downloads.
If you are not yet a member of the CA Performance Management Validation Program in validate.ca.com, follow these steps to join:
- Click this link: http://validate.ca.com/callout/?callid=119D4178EBEA4FA180C369DA88B1D4B7
- When asked for a username and password, use the same username and password as you use to access Customer Support Online.
- If you are not already a member of the validate.ca.com community:
- You will be asked to complete the user registration process. The form asks for some information about your location. The only required element is to specify the country in which you are located.
- Electronically sign the Pre-Release Testing Agreement by entering your e-mail address as listed in the section just above the field where you digitally sign.
- Fill out a Project Registration Survey. Our Product Management team will be thankful for information about your company, role, and interest in Sprint Kits.
- You will see a Welcome screen displayed. There will be a button at the bottom that you can click to acknowledge the Welcome screen, at which your point you will see the details of the CA Performance Management Validation Program project.
Accessing the CA Performance Management Validation Program After Initial Registration
- Log in to validate.ca.com.
- You will see CA Performance Management Validation Program listed under “My Projects”. Click on the link to access the project.
Accessing the Sprint Kit
Once within the CA Performance Management Validation Program, click on “Sprint Kits”, under "Resources". Click on “CA PM 3.0 Sprint 4 Kit" to access the download instructions for the Sprint 4 Kit.
