The CA Performance Management team invites you to download, and install and test the r2.5 Sprint 4 Kit. This Sprint Kit reflects work demonstrated on April 2, 2015.

Attached to this posting are instructions for downloading this Sprint Kit from Cloud Commons. For the best download performance, be sure to use the Akamai Download Manager when prompted to do so.

This Sprint Kit is to be used in non-production environments only.

The r2.5 Sprint 4 Sprint Kit supports fresh installs and upgrades from r2.4. If you are upgrading, we recommend you create a database backup before you begin the upgrade process. Future Sprint Kits will support fresh installs and upgrades from r2.4, but not upgrades from this Sprint Kit. A database backup for your r2.4 test system will allow you to roll back to r2.4 before installing a future Sprint Kit.

The CA Performance Management r2.5 Sprint 4 Kit includes the following new features:

    • Extend OOB Vender Cert – Add Interface Availability
    • Edit OOB Metric Family (Percentile & Projections) via GUI
    • Baseline Metric Support in CSPC Views
    • Summary Statistics View (Sprint 3 – you ask you get)
    • Copy Dashboard
    • Finish Lifecycle (Start/Stop Polling)
    • eMail Template
    • OpenAPI Authentication, Authorization, etc.
    • OpenAPI Usage Tracking / Logging, etc.
    • OAM Provisioning Updates
    • OpenAPI Aggregation
    • Browser View Updates

Starting with CA Performance Management r2.5, documentation will be available on the Wiki, where CA Performance Center and Data Aggregator documentation has been consolidated into one location. When trying to access the documentation from the Sprint 4 kit, you will receive "No topics found." errors.

The pre-release documentation is available here:

For access to the documentation, log in to the Wiki with your CA Support Online account, accept the agreement, and send an e-mail to requesting access. In the e-mail, specify the e-mail address associated with your CA Support Online account. This will alert our documentation team to provide you access to the pre-release documentation. Once you have been granted access, a member of the product team will e-mail you back.

Enjoy the new features and please share your experience with the community. Our team will be monitoring this thread over the next two weeks.

Thank you for your continued support!
