  • 1.  LDAP Not Working

    Posted 5 days ago
    Hello All,

I'm trying to configure LDAP on my 6520 switches running 8.2.1c

A few items, when I run the command below, for whatever reason I can't delete the LDAP server. Any reasons why this would happen?

sd-prod-fcsw01A:admin> aaaconfig --remove 153.64.42.250 -conf ldap
Cannot remove last LDAP server from the configuration

The next item is that the LDAP setup doesn't seem to work after setting it up.

I configured LDAP using the guide and I get an error saying "TLS channel failed Can't contact LDAP server".

Just to make sure I'm clear my ldap server is ldaps-sd.bc.smith.com. The IP for that server is 153.64.22.215 for examples.

So the command I give is the following - aaaconfig --add 153.64.22.215 -conf ldap -p 389 -d bc.smith.com

    Should the above not work?
