Call home setup

Is there a call home setup for Brocade switches for customers who do not have BNA? The switch in question at this time is a 7800 Extension Switch.

@Kevin Cooney  You can setup very granular alerting using MAPS on the switches/directors.  Having a Fabric Vision licence in place is a prerequisite.  However switch would then "call home"  to your "monitoring system" using e-Mail, syslog or SNMP traps, not to any OEMs support center. Some OEMs can implement call home scenarios without BNA as well.

Something like this? Email isn't getting thru so I'm going to check the SMTP relay.

    relayconfig --config -rla_ip 9.10.11.12 -rla_dname "test.com"

    mapspolicy --enable dflt_conservative_policy
mapsconfig --enablefpimon (if fails bottleneckmon --disable)
    mapsconfig --actions SNMP,RASLOG,SDDQ,FENCE

    mapsconfig --emailcfg -address "rob.roy@test.com,bobby.pin@test.com"
mapsconfig --testmail -subject "Test from HQ_Switch_1A" -message "This is a test please ignore"

@Kevin Cooney    That should work if you enable EMAIL as one additional option in mapsconfig --actions

However you better check if the dflt_conservative_policy policy has all the alarms configured you need (including email as ab action)
