    my customer get these message while the Fos update from 8.0.x to 8.1.x the first time ,

    before they update from 7.4.x to 8.0.x without a problem.

    This happend on 2 switches the same behavior:

    Below the extract of the firmwaredownload putty session :

    awk-3.1.1-6
    ############################### [ 100% ]
    ipsec-1.1-1
    ############################### [ 100% ]

    Wrong number of argument for configSet
    All packages have been downloaded successfully.
    Firmware has been downloaded to the secondary partition of the switch.
    HA Rebooting ...

    ++++

    My great question is why only the step 2 (aka from 8.0 to. 8.1) failed
    on the HA REBOOT.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Do somebody know this problem and have an solution for it ?

    I have upgraded many types of Brocade switches over the years and have never seen the statement " Wrong number of argument for configSet".

    What switch type did this message occur and what is the exact FOS code version?

    @Michael Goerlach

    i believe you and the customer misunderstand the output....

    firmwaredownload command show the output after download is completed

    the output is not related neither to the module's awk nor ipsec, for a simple reason the output show correct at
